Much easier to use than whet or diamond stones

Not only it is substantially easier to use, but when I paired it with the fine discs (#2000 and #3000) as the strop, I got an incredibly sharp edge. It was effortless to peel oranges, or finely chop an apple, or cut onion with less tears. Definitely I recommend as a former user of both whetstone and diamond stones (there is nothing wrong with either of them, I just never properly mastered their techniques even after years of trying).

Best Sharpener Ever!!

The Hone Knife Sharpener is an absolutely amazing product! Works extremely well on my Henkel knives as well as my prized two Miyabi Japanese knives. Sharp knives are essential and Hone makes this an easy reality!

Impressive results

It's been nearly 5 weeks since I purchased the sharpener WOW impressed with how easy it is to use and the sharpness that you can obtain on the blade. Once I started and saw the results, I had to sharpen all the knives in the house and my son's knives as well.
Highly recommend

Thoughts

I used to teach Scouts to sharpen their pocket knives. When we sere done you could shave the hairs on your arm. Using Ukulele's demo I could not produce that level of sharpness. However my daughter cut tomatoes and was very pleaded with the sharpness.
I note that Ukulele talks about using four discs; 200, 400, 1000, and 3000 grit.
On a rough knife a 200 grit would be helpful.

Excellent customer service and great product

I’ve always had problems sharpening knives the conventional way with stones. I could never consistently hold the proper angle to get a good edge. After comparing the Tumbler and Horl brands I settled on the Hone system, and glad I did. While all three systems offer consistently sharpening knives at 15 and 20 degree angles, the Hone system is a game changer with the addition of small knife placement on the sharpening block. While it can still be a bit tricky with small or odd shaped blades, this system is head and shoulders above the rest. Thank you for a great product!
