- Detach and wash diamond discs with soap and water
- Dry diamond discs immediately after washing

I had been researching knife sharpeners for quite a while, going through the manual slide through ones followed by 2 electric versions and then saw this weird looking roller from a brand called HORL. I am glad that I continued my research because I then came across an individual called Ukulele Jay BBQ on YouTube who (after several watching several of his videos), convinced me that the HONE was not only the better option but better designed, Canadian made with powerful magnets, and significantly less costly than the HORL.
I communicated with him for a bit and then made the jump to buy my HONE. I have found it so easy to use and very very effective for all of my knives. I have 8 knives but only 4 are used constantly. HONE has helped me to keep them sharp always! Thank you HONE! Great product!
The saying "You get what you pay for" is so true! I have tried many different knife sharpeners over the years, but none have done such an awesome job of sharpening my knives . I tried another cheaper brand of roller sharpener, but it only worked for large knives.
The Hone sharpener has a special built in ledge to securely hold smaller pairing knives which is fabulous. The magnets are very strong and hold knives securely during sharpening. The sharpening discs are double sided, and replaceable which makes this a lifetime kitchen tool. Truly a quality, well designed and easy to use knife sharpener.
