- Detach and wash diamond discs with soap and water
- Dry diamond discs immediately after washing

After an incredible number of hours deliberating over every possible option for sharpening my knives, I settled on trying out the Hone. I only discovered this relatively recently in my research, but it was clear looking at their website that they've put real thought and innovation into the entire system (not just the roller itself). Having used it now to sharpen some knives I can say I'm really pleased with my decision (it took a blunt knife back to very sharp quickly and easily) and I'll be looking to buy some of their accessories to really go to town on the sharpness. The product feels very well made (got a good, solid weight to it), rolls very smoothly and looks good too. It's easy (and satisfying) to use and I can definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to get incredibly sharp knives from a well designed and thought out system.
The Hone Knife Sharpener is a great bit of kit and does exactly what it says on the tin. I have 4 cheap stainless steel kitchen knives that I've had for over 20 years and, despite all my efforts, I've never managed to get them really sharp, until now. As my introduction to the Hone knife sharpener, I decided to see if it could do anything with these 4 knives. About an hour later all 4 were sharp enough to shave the hair off my arms so I'm ecstatic, and totally confident that it will maintain my and my daughter's Wusthof Classic knives. 🥂
We love the Hone Knife Sharpener! I don’t know how we did without it. It works as demonstrated which is rare in this “make a quick buck” world.
Saw it last year and didn't purchase at the Edmonton Home Show. This year I purchased and have done all of our knifes and some for friends. They are very impressed as I am on it performance and ease of use.
My dad sharpens blades and saws for a living, and he approves. Taught me to use a wet stone, but this tool is great for sharpening while cooking.
