- Detach and wash diamond discs with soap and water
- Dry diamond discs immediately after washing

I bought the Hone Sharpener after using a cheaper unit that worked OK eventually, but took ages to sharpen anything. I knew I wouldn't use it in the long term - too much hassle. I also wasn't prepared to pay BMW prices for a market-leading unit. So eventually I 'settled' on the Hone. And I'm certainly glad I did! The unit is very well-made and works quickly and efficiently to razor-sharpen all types of blades. The extra magnetised shelf on the base unit, to accommodate smaller knives, is a really useful addition too. Can't recommend the Hone enough. Extraordinary.
Received my new 3000 grit disc promptly. Super sharp knives with the ceramic honing disc and now use my 1000 grit and 3000 grit disc regularly to fine tune my knives to razor sharp. Great investment.

This is a great unit. Easy to use. The company is great to work with. I sharpened a few knifes and thought the stone wore a bit fast. They explained it was just breaking in but they sent me a replacement plus a 3000 for me to try absolutely free. Great service. I would buy again
